Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center Wednesday April 27, 2016
Check-in and silent auction begin at 11:30 am
Lunch and program 12:00 - 1:30 pm
On April 27, 2016, at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center the YWCA luncheon will feature a key note from globally recognized speaker, author, CNN Contributor, domestic violence survivor, and former YWCA Pierce County client Mildred Muhammad. Muhammad is the ex-wife of the DC Sniper and many don’t know that the tragic events that unfolded in 2002 were actually the result of domestic violence with Mildred as the intended target. She has overcome much in her life and now shares her story to empower other survivors.
While the luncheon is free to attend, your financial contribution helps us raise the funds necessary to continue providing our clients and their families with vital programming; creating space for healing in a safe and empowering environment.
